Join the Chorus
Adults who love to sing are invited to join the Sierra Vista Community Chorus directed by Sharon Keene. No auditions are required; men's voices are particularly needed, but men and women of any age are welcome. Rehearsals for the 2010 Gospel Concert and the Holiday Concert will begin on Monday, August 23 at 9:30 and every Monday thereafter. Rehearsals are held at the Ethel Berger Center at 2950 E. Tacoma Street, near the Sierra Vista Public Library.

The 2010 concert season opens with a gospel concert which will be presented on Friday, October 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, October 16 at 2 p.m. at the Faith Presbyterian Church in Sierra Vista. This concert is inspirational not only in its music, but in its gift to a charity. This year the recipient of the entire offerings from the gospel concerts will be VICaP (Volunteer Interfaith Caregiver Program).

The annual holiday concert benefits the Sierra Vista Fire Department Holiday Baskets program to ensure a happy holiday to children in need. In addition to presenting concerts, chorus members present music each month to residents of Hacienda Rehabilitation and Care Center, Life Care Center and Prestige Assisted Living.
